Kemmel straight at Spa Francorchamp, in the rain, is one of the most daunting experiences you can have in a race car. You exit Eau Rouge at a very high speed even in the rain, and the spray from the car you follow is so thick that the only thing you can see for the entire length of the straight is the rain light from the car in front of you. This painting is inspired by these memories.
